Our 2006 Sonoma Valley Cabernet is a blend of the valley's best vineyards.This combination of Mayacamas volcanic soils and warm days in Glen Ellen provide a unique microclimate for growing great Cabernet. The vineyards are low yield, producing small concentrated berries with intense varietal character.
This is a rich Cabernet with aromas of plum, black cherry, and currant. Our Cabernet is aged for 20 months in French oak, adding a bouquet of toasty vanilla, nutmeg, anise, and cedar cigar box. Smooth tannin and lasting flavors of berry and cherry make this the perfect wine for grilled meats and robust pasta dishes.
